At levels 50+
How you grind efficiently changes at around this level or slightly earlier. Its about how you can use the pots that you bought from the NPC longer rather than getting a positive amount of pots. If you want a positive amount of cash in your bank rather than going poor like most players will at this stage, you need to:

1. Gain archlord gold that will not only cover the cost of buying potions, but exceeding them as well.

2. Using less potions/making potions last longer

In order to gain archlord gold you need to grind elite monsters. The only way to use less pots and gain more archlord gold at this stage is to either grind countless boring hours outside or the most efficient way is to band up with another player.

The ideal party for a mage is as follows:

Elementalist or Archer and a Knight or Bezerker

You need the Archer/ Elementalist is stop the movement using their slow spells. Your slow spells mass snare and wind quake will stack with the Archer/Elementalist causing the monsters to stop and not move at all. The Knight/Bezerker will be the one pullling the train, because they can take alot of hits.

This way you will be pounding groups of elite monsters from a distance and not using alot of potions at all.
