Ten Ton Hammer - While the humans have knights and the orcs have berzerkers, the Moonelves don't appear to have a melee / warrior class. Do the elementalists and rangers (the two elven classes) have tankish tendencies?
Hodges - The Humans and Orcs do have out and out tank classes, but the nature and history of the Moon Elves mean that they do not have their own designated tank class. However they do have the Elementalist class, the only class to have summons. Of these summons some have tankish qualities and so can be used to tank. Though the important thing to note at this moment is that the games divide is along guild rather than race lines. So if you are involved in content that requires an out and out tank as part of the group Moon Elves will not find themselves at a disadvantage.
Ten Ton Hammer - I was thrilled to see that the London Symphony Orchestra, well known for its cross-cultural efforts (not least among them symphonic scores of popular Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin tunes), is doing thearchlord gold soundtrack. Was this Codemasters' doing, or were these scores part of the original game?
Hodges -As much as I would love to take credit for arranging for the Orchestra to be involved in the game, this was in fact already part of the original game. Korean developers have a very different approach to MMO game music than the western market. It is considered a very important part of gameplay, and one that they invest heavily in. This music is then released to the wider community for free, as a show of appreciation for the support that players have offered to the developer. The soundtrack also features members of the Seoul choir singing the opening song in traditional ancient Greek. I think the music in ArchLord fits in really well with the environments, in fact they have even gone as far as to create that is based around music, with the monsters fighting in time to the music. So I think you can look forward to some really great music in archlord gold that will set the scene for you.
